Dee Dee

Dee Dee was eight and a half years-old when she came into CBTW, a petite, spayed female Border Terrier who had known some rough times.

She originally came from a puppy mill in Texas where, after losing a litter of puppies, she was supposed to be destroyed but fortunately North American Border Terrier Welfare were alerted by a kind-hearted individual.

She was in bad shape with severe allergies and badly infected ears - none the less, shortly after being rescued in 2007, she was adopted by a loving family in Canada - they worked really hard with her and with the help of a naturopath and a raw food diet (grain free) she blossomed into a healthy, happy little girl.

Unfortunately, the family's circumstances changed and they made the very hard decision that a new forever home would be in her best interests.

She was fostered by our Manitoba Rep until being adopted by an energetoic, enterprising cancer survivor who flew from Toronto to Winnipeg to pick up one very lucky little dog.
